- Flavonoids that interact with other molecules. Thus, they optimize the “entourage effect” also called “plant synergy” (1).
All these compounds are synthesized by the trichomes (resin glands) of the aerial parts of the hemp. They are particularly concentrated in the inflorescences (flowers of the cannabis).
– Effects and legislation of CBD
CBD (cannabidiol) is indeed a molecule present in hemp. However, its effects are not psychotropic like those of THC. It has no affinity for the cannabinoid receptors of our endocannabinoid system (
SEC
). Therefore, its presence in the body does not disturb the “machine” and does not cause any psychological or physical disorder. It appears in the eyes of the French law as totally legal. Indeed, it does not appear on the list of substances classified as narcotics of the decree of February 22, 1990 (2).

They have the particularity to have a rate lower than 0,2% in THC (maximum authorized threshold).
– the finished product (oils, balm, capsule, resin, flower, CBD oil capsule…) must not contain any trace of THC.
– Only the seeds and the stem of cannabis are exploitable. Since 2018, however, a tolerance applies regarding flowers.
In 2021, a serious store must be able to provide its customers with :
- a certificate of analysis carried out in the laboratory for each of its products.
