Cannabis as a plant is known by all and in the whole world. It tends to be one and the same type of plant since it is systematically qualified as “
weed
“(pot smoker’s herb), which is itself considered a drug. In reality, there are many varieties of cannabis. Whether it is for “therapeutic” or narcotic (psychoactive) application, it is separated into two main categories (or subspecies): sativa and indica. Their respective characteristics are very different from each other. They themselves are differentiated into several pure or hybrid lines (resulting from crossing of pure varieties). It is the genetics of the variety of cannabis which will confer its phenotype (size, mass, colors?) and its genotype (effects, taste, odor?). For its aromas, flavors, effects and yields, the kush type hemp is a worldwide success. It is indeed the parent of many new lines of cannabis. Among them, we find the inimitable OG Kush, the Hindu Kush, the Amnesia Kush, the Mango Kush. The latter is also available in Mango Kush CBD.
Cannabis sativa vs indica
Their origins
The original varieties of sativa are found mainly around the equator (Colombia, Mexico..). Indica will grow more in altitude and in resin producing countries (Morocco, Afghanistan, Nepal, India and Pakistan).
Their appearances
The variety of cannabis sativa is higher and has fine leaves, less dense and less fleshy flowers than the indica hemp. This last one has rather a bushy aspect which confers to this type of plants, a better output.
Their effects
sativa plants generally trigger a euphoric effect by playing on brain activities (“cerebral high”). An indica variety will have a deep and relaxing, even analgesic, effect on the body (“stone effect”).
Their composition
The ratio of the cannabinoids THC (tetrahydrocannabinol, a psychotropic substance) and CBD (cannabidiol, a non-psychotropic molecule) present in these cannabis subspecies differs widely. They allow to select and cross this or that plant to obtain a legal hybrid.
As a reminder, in France, the THC content tolerated to market a CBD product must be less than 0.2%. For its higher ratio of THC than CBD the sativa-dominant type of cannabis is therefore often illegal. Ds a result, aCBD product is more often the result of indica-dominant cannabic hybrids.
Their aromas and flavors
Originally, a line sativa will be as well fruity and sweet as spicy and powerful. A line indica will be, it, rather fruity or wooded.
The THC and CBD strains of cannabis in existence today are the result of so many different crosses, that it is impossible to specifically qualify their taste and smell.
The genetics of Kush cannabis strains
The variety Kush is the result of numerous crosses of pure lines originating in South and Central Asia (Pakistan, Afghanistan and India). For its many properties (food, narcotic, industrial and now “therapeutic”), this polyhybrid is found throughout the world.
Its phenotype tends rather towards that of the indica:
- medium-sized plant
- large robust leaves
- Hollow stems characteristic of cannabis plants with narcotic effects.
- Short flowering and sensitive to photoperiodic variations but abundant and dense. This plant therefore gives an interesting yield.
The trichomes (resinous glands falsely qualified as pollen) of its flowers, containing its terpenes and an important content of cannabinoids, are very developed. They give to Kush cannabis strains :
- an amber appearance
- a unique taste
- a strong smell
- powerful effects
For all these characteristics, the Kush type comes in many varieties:
- the famous OG Kush, the powerful Hindu Kush, the subtle Candy Kush, the unique Amnesia Kush, the sweet Mango Kush, etc…
If many hybrids are illegal herbs with high concentrations of THC, they are also found in CBD version:
- in the form of: resin, oil,
flowers
seeds, liquids, crystals, balms, etc…
Mango Kush THC
Mango Kush is qualified as a “quiet” plant because its THC content is rather moderate (around 16% and not going beyond 20%). Its origin is not certain, it would come a priori from a crossing of Mango with a
Hindu Kush
.
Its mentally euphoric and physically relaxing effects come from its 50/50 ratio of sativa/indica. This variety of cannabis is particularly appreciated for its virtues which give the desire to its consumer to develop social relations (joyful need to communicate). Its round and fruity aroma is close to that of the mango with the aftertaste of banana.
A plant of Mango Kush is rather of average size but robust, with broad leaves and with a dense bloom very provided with quality resin. Therefore, it has a particularly interesting yield for a grower (approximately 500g of flowers per plant of “weed”).
In France, this variety of Mango is prohibited because of its psychoactive effect generated by a rate of THC well higher than 0,2% (French threshold of tolerance).
Mango Kush CBD
Mango Kush is a variety of cannabis with a rather high natural rate of CBD (7%). It is resulting from the crossing of
CBD Dinamed
(high CBD content, dominant sativa, aromatic and sweet) with the Summer star (high yield). This hybridization gives it a solid genetic heritage, both from a phenotypic and genotypic point of view.
The Mango Kush CBD, a good value for money
Indeed, the Mango Kush CBD has a fast and voluminous bloom full of very resinous trichomes very thick. Its harvest is therefore generous:
- on average, 900 grams per foot. But, in conditions of culture optimal, it can be increased to 1500 grams.
This very good output makes the happiness of the farmers when one knows that the price is fixed by gram).
The effects of Mango Kush CBD
The relaxing effects of the Mango Kush CBD can make wait a little moment. But, its progressive and persistent action confers him a place of choice for a consumer beginner. But not only….!
Mango Kush CBD has a “come-hither” aroma and flavors:
- a fruity taste with fresh and sweet notes of mango brought back to that of pine on exhaling
- a tropical smell
These organoleptic qualities are sure to please. They will be able to make this variety, the number 1 for consumers eager for sweetness.
With its rate of THC lower than 0,2%, the Mango Kush CBD is a variety of cannabis tolerated by the French legislation. As a result, it is found in many
CBD shops
online and in physical stores.
The opinions about this CBD cannabis variety are unanimous: Mango Kush CBD is top!
