The origins of Super Lemon Haze
Super Lemon Haze (and its CBD version) is an original sativa-dominant hybrid. It results from numerous crosses made from seeds of sativa (Haze) and indica coming from the famous bank of seeds “
Greenhouse seeds
“. Its parents would be a Lemon Skunk and a Super Silver Haze. It was born in the late 90s, when the world began to take interest in CBD (cannabidiol). It quickly made its way into the top rankings of the best “weed”:

The culture of the Super Lemon Haze
The Super Lemon Haze cannabis plant is fast growing and flowering (about 10 weeks in controlled conditions: indoor). Its leaves are typical of those of a sativa (small but broad). 
Its flowers are quite compact and extremely provided with trichomes (resinous glands containing the cannabinoids and the terpenes of the plant).
Despite its medium size, its important resin production allows an abundant harvest. As a result, it gives an excellent return:
- 600 grams per square meter on average for indoor cultivation
- up to 1200 grams per square meter outdoors
Moreover, this variety of cannabis is rather robust and rather resistant to the pests (moulds…) what makes its culture relatively easy.
The classic version of this variety clearly prefers an outdoor growing method (super yield). But, the Super Lemon Haze CBD is rather cultivated inside from feminized seeds Greenhouse seeds.
The effects of Super Lemon Haze
Super Lemon Haze has very high THC levels (up to 23%) and a very low CBD content (0.2%). These characteristics give it powerful effects. As any sativa which respects itself, its action is very stimulating cerebrally and is sometimes accompanied by euphoria if the situation lends itself to it (evening, meeting between friends). It is an energetic herb that motivates its consumer in his immediate projects. It is said to be an inspiring plant. It is ideal for creation. On this point, all opinions converge! However, its high concentration of THC (psychotropic substance) is likely to cause paranoia and addiction. It is, therefore, completely illegal to sell, produce or consume.

The modes of consumption of Super Lemon Haze
Whatever the product made from this variety, to be marketable, it must meet the legislation in force in the country concerned. To be legal in France, these CBD products must have a THC concentration lower than 0.2%.
They come in different forms: flowers, seeds, resin, liquid, oil. Therefore, they can be used in several ways:
- The flowers, the resin, and the CBD oil can be smoked (be careful, smoking is dangerous for your health), vaporized (very fashionable), ingested in the form of herbal tea or cooked.
- Seeds are usually purchased from Green House seeds for collectors and licensed growers. However, they can also be infused or consumed as a condiment in cooking recipes (roasted or as oil seeds)
- Liquids are only used with electronic cigarettes (like pods).
The Super Lemon Haze
distinguishes itself from all the other varieties of Haze mainly thanks to its exceptional organoleptic qualities. All the opinions on its effects converge to say that it is very balanced and that it has a more than interesting quality/price ratio. Therefore, it is an ideal plant for daily consumption. Its stimulating and relaxing effects provide its consumer with a cheerful but reasoned motivation, not delirious like the classic version.
